If we stand back and observe our own lives, we notice that they are full of transitions. These processes of change are inevitable and occur throughout the course of our lives. They may take place when we least expect them, and most of the time we may not even be aware of them when they are occurring, even though they can often reshape the way we think, feel, and behave. You might feel anxiety, depression, shame, and anger. You might feel stressed out at work, or experience relationship difficulties, an identity crisis, or develop an addiction. Unrecognised or unacknowledged transitions are often at the root of these thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

Walking Therapy can help to simplify and solidify some present thoughts or feelings that perhaps seem a little uncertain, and provide you with a real opportunity for personal growth. Throughout our process together I will provide you with guidance insight that will encourage you to reflect upon who you are today, and help determine where in your life you still seek some clarity or resolution. As your therapist I want to equip you with tools that help provide peace of mind, inner confidence and resilience, a greater personal sense of well-being, and increased self-awareness.  

Nature provides you with a safe space where you can take a moment to breathe, think, and reflect, in an environment where self-exploration and personal healing can take place. Each of us hold the key to our own personal sense of inner freedom. And for my part it would be a pleasure to be a part of your journey.

Walking Therapy promotes the release of dopamine, endorphins, serotonin, oxytocin, and adrenaline inside the body, creating a natural high — leaving  you feeling invigorated, happy, and full of life. 

Walking helps you to relax and process your feelings more effectively, and encourages you to be more openly expressive in your body language. This has been one of the most noticeable differences I have seen in my Walking Therapy clients since they made the transition from indoor, face-to-face sessions.

Taking a walk within a natural setting is especially beneficial because sounds, scents, and scenery help us to recall memories, thoughts, and feelings in the present moment.

Walking Therapy decreases blood pressure, promotes weight loss, and helps channel unwanted or negative feelings out of the body, reducing physical and emotional stress. 

It helps to lower cholesterol levels, increase metabolism, and promote weight loss. This in turn helps improve circulation throughout your body, carrying more oxygen and nutrients to your organs, which contributes to clearer thinking, whilst at the same time lowering blood pressure and stress levels. 

The physical action of walking can act as a necessary reminder that we all need to maintain and prioritise our self-care above anything else.

SPIRITUAL benefits

We feel naturally drawn to being outside. As human beings, we have a deep connection with nature that is inherent in each and every one of us.

Natural environments can help increase our feelings of inner peace and calmness, which can evoke a spiritual sense of connection to our environment and those around us. When we feel spiritually connected to our environment, it provides a sense of perspective. This can help release us from the ‘tunnel vision’ that can afflict us.

Being in nature provides an anchoring, a grounding. An essential connection for us all.

Session locations are based in London and across the U.K. Each sessions are individually tailored to meet your specific needs and requirements. I provide a full assessment to provide you with insight on the type of work that needs to be done to overcome your present challenges.


All sessions cost £80 per 50-minute session. I work on a sliding scale for those who require extra financial support, so please contact me to discuss further. For workshops, retreat packages, and public speaking engagements, please contact me directly.
